Finally micro RC disrupts a silly sporting event...

We've been talking about doing something silly like taking a Vapor to a basketball game. However, it seems someone improved on our idea with the new ParkZone Sukhoi by taking it to a baseball game. Having it make the news and be noteworthy is the goal, so if you know who flew the sukhoi, let us know and we'll send them a hearty "thanks!" from the Right Stick!

This is awesome, watch and enjoy...

    Hi all,
yeah it was sort of cool but we could probably do without being seen as a reckless pack of yahoos, some times the fact that this hobby has become cheaper and a lot more accessable is not working in our favour! We need to fly smart or big brother will hit us with more restrictions.

    Cheers

I'm normally very much in your camp, but this plane is harmless (I've bounced mine off myself many times), and I'm all for harmless fun. And I'm also typically for keeping our sport in a good light, but the larrikin in me really digs that this *needs* to be done at least once

      Cheers,

      George-

I do not think the single event of a micro aircraft flying in Dodge Stadium will shut down the hobby.. The event was harmless and benign on almost all scales. The local news event that covered got a laugh out of it and the sports caster went as far to mention how "far those toys have come, I may have to pick one up myself!"

Had someone taken a 30lb 42% bird out into the stadium, I think it would have cast a very bad light..  A sub 5 ounce aircraft - I doubt.
